Unexplored places in Turkey.

1.Bursa Bursa, Turkey’s fourth-largest city, is located in Anatolia at the foot of Mount Uludag, which is shrouded in mystery and legends. Bursa was the first capital of the Ottoman Empire from 1326 to 1363. It is a large city in northwest Turkey, lying in the foothills of roughly 2,500m-high Mount Uludag near the Sea of Marmara. The city is known for its mosques and historical sites from the early Ottoman Empire. It's nicknamed "Yeşil Bursa" (Green Bursa), owing to its many parks and trees, as well as its dramatic mountain backdrop.  Bursa is famous for its silk market and gorgeous silk products. Add to this the Green Mosque, the origin of Turkey’s shadow theater, the original Iskender Kebab, and plenty of parks and green spaces which also gave Bursa the name Green Bursa, and you’ll see why this is one of my favorite places in Turkey to visit, and why you should go, too. 2.Amasya Amasya  is one of the provinces in Central Anatolia of Turkey which is distinct both with

1.Shirakami-Sanchi (aomori akita)

The main attraction of Shirakami Sanchi are the various hiking trails that lead through the forests to waterfalls, mountain peaks and lakes. The most popular hike leads to the Anmon Falls on the northeastern side of Shirakami Sanchi. The Anmon Falls are a set of three waterfalls that lie about 90 minutes into the valley from the trailhead (not accessible from late November to late April).

Another popular destination are the Juniko ("twelve lakes"), a series of small lakes and ponds connected by hiking trails, on the north western side of Shirakami Sanchi along the coast of the Sea of Japan.

Also be sure to check out the Nihon Canyon, Japan's miniature version of the Grand Canyon, with walls of colorful brown and grey rock found near the entrance to the Juniko. A walking trail connects the canyon with the Juniko's lakes and ponds.

Another popular, but considerably more time consuming hiking course on the north western side of Shirakami Sanchi leads to Mount Shirakamidake, the tallest peak of the mountain range.

One of the most popular among them is the easy trail to Mount Futatsumori in the south west of Shirakami Sanchi along the prefectural border.

Shiretoko, a natural heritage site registered in the World Heritage List in July 2005, is considered one of the last pristine wilderness areas remaining in Japan. Shiretoko is a long narrow peninsula located in northeastern Hokkaido. Shiretoko is particularly significant for its outstanding relationship between marine and terrestrial ecosystems. It is very important for threatened migratory birds, salmonid species, specific marine mammals, and cetacean species.

The salmon and trout that breed in the sea off Shiretoko are an important food resource supporting the terrestrial ecosystem with rare birds such as Blakiston's fish owl, Steller's sea eagle, and the white-tailed sea eagle. Brown bears also frequent the area. Additionally, it is home to a rich biodiversity of fauna and flora, including endangered and endemic species. The Shiretoko ecosystem is a dramatically clear example of the linkage between marine and terrestrial ecosystems. The designated property of Shiretoko is considered an important wildlife reserve with unique features unlike any other in the world.

Shiretoko, blessed with mountains, lakes, and an abundance of plants and animals, encompasses many places of interest throughout the seasons. It has the highest recorded density population of brown bears, and is globally important for migratory birds.
